RESCUE FROM SHELTERS
Our mission is to get dogs out of shelters and into forever homes. Due to the common decline in canine behavior in shelters, which negatively impacts adoptability, our first step is to provide a temporary home. We have observed the barriers of adoption and created a program to address and aleviate the possible challenges of adoption. We have worked with rescues from Idaho to North Pole.

FOSTER, SOCIALIZE & TRAIN RESCUE
Upon rescue, we begin transitional progress from shelter to home. While the training process is different for every Lucky Puck, this is a critical step in keeping dog's out of shelters, forever. We find many folks are open to adoption, but feel unequipped to deal with potential social or behavioral challenges. We take this work head on to hopefully inspire and support our community to reconsider the impact of adoption.

FIND A FOREVER HOME FOR ANOTHER LUCKY PUCK
While we may offer various training services, finding forever homes for dogs who were unlucky is the sole purpose of Lucky Puck. The origination of 'this' was inspired through the observation that communities want to support rescue, though without support, lean towards the 'easier' route of purchasing a puppy with very little knowledge on the operation they could be supporting. We hope that together we can save the dogs.
